To say that I was excited to get an inquiry from this bride regarding her wedding would be an understatement! The lovely Nasiem happens to be a cousin of some long standing clients of mine, The Ennabes, whom I have had the pleasure of photographing over the last 12 years. This wedding is my 5th (I think) for their family, and is now one of a long list of incredible and meaningful events I have been privileged to be a part of. I always feel so fortunate when my work evolves into a deeper relationship with my clients that connects me with them in some of the most momentous occasions of their lives. I couldn’t be happier knowing that Nasiem and JT will now be counted on my growing list of dear friends who also happen to be my clients. 🙂
Our day began at Nasiem’s parents’ beautiful home 45 minutes East of Los Angeles. Dozens of friends and family gathered to adorn and celebrate this stunning bride. From there, the ceremony commenced at the historic and ornate St. Sophia’s Cathedral downtown. No matter how many times I have been there, I am always awestruck by the immensity and beauty of this century old place of worship.
The festivities continued from there into Old Town Pasadena where we were able to capitalize of the beauty of this city with time at Plaza Las Fuentes, and of course the iconic Pasadena City Hall. With the reception at the Westin, everything was positioned perfectly and allowed for plenty of time walking around with J.T. and Nasiem and capturing some amazing images with this charming couple. This portion of the wedding day and the time spent exclusively with the bride and groom I feel gives them the opportunity to soak in the amazing reality of the day and enjoy a few quiet moments. It’s here where we’re able connect, be creative and ultimately capture the excitement and emotions of months of planning and build-up. And as you’ll see from these images, the afternoon light streaming through on this day was absolutely AMAZING!
The reception was a party like no other, with hours of endless energy, dancing, singing and otherwise lavishing love on this happy couple! Just when things couldn’t possibly get any better, of course it did when an In-N-Out truck cruised up to provide everyone with a late night snack!
I so enjoyed being a part of this amazing day with these newly inducted members of the Epic family, and I hope you’ll enjoy this little peek at just a few of the incredible images captured. Cheers to Nasiem and JT!
