Malibu California Senior Session

I’m sure we can all agree that graduating Seniors have had it pretty rough this last year. We all prayed that 2021 would bring a greater sense of normalcy, and a change for these young hopefuls to salvage the last few months of their high school careers. Sadly, in Los Angeles especially, this has not been the case. With California being one of the most heavily COVID-affected states in the country, many students began the school year at home, and have only just begun in-person learning in recent weeks, if at all.

That being said, when we got the call for Erin’s Senior Session, I was more than pleased to do all I could to not only give her a fun experience but to help capture her vibrant personality! With this past year being as challenging as it’s been, who doesn’t love an opportunity to ditch the mask for a bit, soak in some sunshine, and start embracing the excitement of a bright future and fresh start?!

For this session, we chose Leo Carrillo State Beach just north of Malibu, known for a rocky coastline complete with coves, tide pools, and breathtaking views. Erin’s bright yellow dress caught the light beautifully, and she didn’t hesitate to climb or nestle herself into the rocks, creating some amazing vignettes!

I really enjoyed this warm Southern California afternoon, and it was so refreshing to be reunited with the sights and sounds of the coast again. We wish the Class of 2021 our deepest congratulations and our most sincere hopes for an incredible future ahead!
